A New Leaf’s mission is to provide job training, life skills, and residential services to elevate confident independence and self-sufficiency for people with developmental disabilities and autism. A New Leaf’s Housing and Shelter programs offer solutions to families and individuals facing homelessness or housing instability. Rapid ReHousing provides direct financial assistance, case management, and support services to stabilize and serve individuals and families who are currently homeless or living in emergency shelters. A New Leaf’s West Valley Housing Assistance Center located in Surprise will offer emergency housing in 7 apartment-style units to families and individuals experiencing homelessness. On November 18th, 2022 A New Leaf hosted a Ground Breaking Ceremony to start construction on the West Valley’s newest family homeless shelter! This new program will be the first of it’s kind in the West Valley, and will serve hundreds of families facing homelessness in the area.
